We are seeking a data-driven Analyst to provide deep-dive insights into NEM spot and futures markets to optimise asset performance. About the Role Perform complex quantitative modeling of NEM dispatch and pricing. Provide data-backed insights for renewable asset bidding and hedging strategies. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes from AEMO and the AEMC. Collaborate with trading and investment teams on asset revenue forecasting. Create high-level dashboards and reports for executive stakeholders. Skills & Experience Degree in Mathematics, Economics, or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM). Proficiency in SQL, Python, or specialised modelling tools (e.g., PLEXOS). Strong understanding of marginal loss factors (MLF) and network congestion. Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable commercial narratives.
