Purpose of the Role As Facilities Manager , you will be responsible for hands-on delivery and coordination of all facilities services within the Treasury Notable Precinct. You will oversee building systems, maintenance, safety requirements and day-to-day operations, ensuring the precinct is compliant, functional and well-presented for its high-profile occupants. The ideal candidate is organised, customer-focused and collaborative, with a strong understanding of facilities operations in complex environments. Key Responsibilities Manage daily facilities operations, inspections, maintenance and contractor performance Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards Maintain accurate asset, work order and compliance records within BGIS Connect Oversee site access, inductions, permits and emergency readiness Support occupant queries and service requests to deliver prompt, customer-focused outcomes Ensure presentation and condition of common areas, meeting spaces and operational areas Contribute to continuous improvement and operational optimisation initiatives Education, Experience & Skills Essential Qualifications in facilities management, building services, engineering, trades or related discipline Experience delivering FM services in complex, multi-building or high-security environments Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, statutory compliance and safety standards Excellent organisational, planning and workload management skills Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills Proven ability to coordinate contractors and onsite works safely and effectively High proficiency in digital systems, FM technologies and data-informed reporting Current Victorian driver licence and ability to obtain required clearances Desirable Experience in government or contract-based FM services Experience managing high-profile or sensitive sites Workplace Flexibility This role is based onsite in Melbourne CBD with flexible start and finish times.
