Job Description As Legal Counsel, you will provide practical, commercially balanced legal advice across Abano’s Australian and New Zealand operations. This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders and functional teams to manage risk, enable growth, and support day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel , you will build trusted relationships with the Executive Leadership Team, Regional Operations Managers, and corporate support functions. Key areas of responsibility include: Advising on operational matters across the ANZ business Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating clinician and commercial contracts (including government contracts) Supporting M&A activity, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions Managing disputes, complaints, and regulatory matters Advising on privacy, compliance, and legal risk management Reviewing marketing materials and advising on competition and consumer law issues
