Your new role: As a Child Protection Liaison Social Worker (HP4), you will deliver senior-level social work services within the Logan-Beaudesert Child Protection Unit, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a complex, fast-paced hospital environment. You will provide expert clinical advice, coordinate child protection responses, and support safe, evidence-based decision-making across health and statutory systems. Key responsibilities include: Managing complex child protection assessments, interventions and evaluations within an interprofessional team Providing expert consultation and liaison to clinicians, families and external agencies Contributing to service development, quality improvement, audits and education initiatives Supervising and supporting HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants About you: You are a senior social worker with strong clinical judgement, confidence operating in statutory environments, and the ability to influence practice across systems. You are calm under pressure, values-driven, and committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
