The Opportunity: There's no doubt that this is an exciting interim prospect, with the potential to impress and longer-term prospects! You will engage with the Operations Teams across the commercial towers within a mixed-use precinct, who will oversee the operational aspects of the precinct's open and shared common areas. Act as the conduit between general managers, facilities, and property teams, regularly interfacing with them and landlord representatives. This role will be ideal for someone with experience in precinct management and/or knowledge of complex stakeholder management in a facilities operations environment. Why this opportunity? This will include landscaped gardens, a car park, artworks, common space, lifts and ornamentation to complement it. The role will manage access to shared services and common areas across the precinct, including all stairways, elevators, open area spaces, and park areas. Interaction with multiple stakeholders and FM teams will be required should work be undertaken, which will impact the common areas (such as window cleaning, glass removals, etc.). You will be accountable for: Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices concerning the maintenance of the property structure, external deck support and pillar structural integrity, façade cleaning, overall presentation and soft services. Coordinating the effective and efficient management of all property services in the common areas, along with coordination and interaction with precinct partners, is essential. Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed and updated regarding ongoing works and projects across the precinct – from VicRoads, Local City Council, Landlord representatives, and Indigenous groups to the broader FM and Operations teams. Focus on security and access control, fire access, CCTV, lockers, AV upgrades, precinct-based server rooms and managing the annual property operations, capital works budgets and updating budgets, working alongside the Owners Corporation Tendering, procurement, and retendering services across the common areas and precinct, determining DLP/ builder responsibilities where applicable, and consolidating services. Managing common space activations and events, ensuring security, SWMS, event sign-off and capacity management as required.
