Your New Role This 12-month contract is responsible for supporting the delivery of projects run across the Fund. The primary focus is to assist the Program and Project Managers with elements of the administration of their program and projects. The role would extend to providing support relating to governance and controls related to the execution of the projects, working across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, custodian, vendors, and regulators. The objective of this role is to support the Program and Project Managers to establish and operate the project's governance, leveraging existing process, procedures and tools, suggesting improvements and uplifting the team's governance capability, while adhering to the Fund's established Change Delivery policies and frameworks. Maintain robust processes to ensure key project controls such as schedule, cost, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are actively managed with internal and external delivery teams; support the development of steering committee and workstream packs, minutes, project and workstream status reports and other ad-hoc reports. Key duties include but not limited to; Lead the collation and consolidation of data from multiple sources for management reporting, including ExCo, Department Management Group, Strategic Delivery Committee, and SteerCo papers. Define and maintain governance standards (e.g., SteerCo and Working Group status reports, project control templates) to ensure efficient and effective delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Support and maintain project controls across individual projects/programs and the broader portfolio, including: Scope, Schedule, Budget/Financials, Resource Forecasts. Lead regular engagement with project stakeholders and business teams to ensure needs are identified and addressed. Capture and distribute key discussion points, decisions, and action items from governance forums to maintain accurate project records. Assist in the completion of project tasks and resolution of issues, ranging from leading specific activities to coordinating others via workshops or working groups. What You'll Need Experience in reviewing and improving governance frameworks. Proficiency in MS Suite and tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI. Curious, analytical, and proactive. Able to identify, analyse, and communicate potential issues, risks, and opportunities. Detail-oriented with the ability to transform data and observations into actionable insights. Collaborative team player who thrives in a cooperative environment. Demonstrated self-starter, comfortable working in small teams with hands-on involvement in tasks. Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately to management. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience working across various levels of an organisation.
