In addition to the responsibilities associated with the individual teams, you may be required to: Provide high level advice, support and information to a range of internal and external clients in relation to planning strategies, recommendations and considerations regarding the provision of services and infrastructure in the planning system. Provide high level technical advice and organisational support for regional and local town planning activities and projects. Prepare written correspondence, submissions, briefs and reports on complex and sensitive issues and initiatives. Undertake research, analysis and problem solving. Represent the Department, as appropriate, at industry/stakeholders' events, meetings and working groups in an effective and professional manner. Build your professional relationships across the local, regional and State planning network. Coordinate whole of government involvement and input on matters of State and/or regional significance into local government plans, statutory and other land use planning processes. Interpret and implement Planning Act legislation, regulations, and guidelines relating to work area policies and functions.
