Through partnerships, The Social Housing Delivery Office provide and influence the provision of safe, secure, affordable, and appropriate housing to the people of Queensland, and the building of vibrant and connected precincts and communities in which they live. As Senior Business Analyst you are responsible for the research and analysis of the department's property and its operating environment providing analysis to improve the portfolio performance from both economic, portfolio asset management and service delivery aspects. The role will review, develop and implement business processes and improvements across the delivery of asset maintenance and upgrade programs. What You Will Be Doing Conduct detailed analysis and make recommendations to support evidence-based decision-making, enabling the department to identify opportunities, address challenges, and achieve its strategic goals in property asset management. Lead and contribute to research projects that examine current portfolio issues, proposing innovative solutions to improve financial, operational, and system functionality in a complex and changing environment. Develop and deliver clear, concise, and impactful communication materials to inform stakeholders of findings and outcomes of research and analysis activities. Collaborate as an active member of the Program Performance team, contributing to shared tasks and responsibilities to ensure the team achieves its objectives and targets. Prepare high-level correspondence, reports, project documentation (including process mapping) and briefing materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with departmental standards and strategic priorities. Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment of property asset management initiatives with broader departmental goals and community needs. Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations. While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, qualifications / experience in property is desired and a high competency in MS Excel, MS Access and Power BI would be advantageous in this role.
