Registered Nurse - CCU/HDU Job No: JR106772 Cairns Private Hospital Permanent Nursing - Registered About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our CCU on a permanent part-time basis . Our CCU provides specialised care for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions requiring constant monitoring, intensive nursing care, and advanced respiratory, cardiac, and renal support therapies . This role requires flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster , including 12 – hour shifts evenings and weekends. You will be supported by a dedicated, collaborative team that reflects the Ramsay Way – putting patients at the centre of everything we do. Your Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Minimum 2 years’ experience in a critical care / Coronary care setting Proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Availability to work across a rotating roster (including weekends/evenings) About You You are a committed, positive, and proactive nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering safe, holistic, patient-centred care. With strong time management skills and acute care experience, you are motivated by the challenge and satisfaction of working at the top level of practice in private health care. Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
