About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the marhaba Lounge at Melbourne Airport. This role will ensure the delivery of premium customer service and positive guest interactions while managing a dedicated team to meet operational goals and uphold the lounge’s high standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure high standards of customer service, discipline and grooming Manage daily lounge operations including addressing any operational issues and ensuring smooth service delivery Oversee staff rostering, food and beverage ordering and resource deployment during peak hours Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards and health and safety guidelines Report any operational irregularities and provide solutions to improve service and efficiency Foster strong relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders to maintain a positive work environment Qualifications and Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a café, high-end restaurant or hotel Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage both permanent and casual staff Strong customer service, food handling, and cash management skills Experience in rostering, ordering supplies, and managing lounge operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail Must have a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement. Working understanding of food safety standards Ability to pass a security check to obtain an ASIC pass Must be an Australian Resident or Citizen Must be flexible - shifts will vary with some starting as early as 05:00 and finishing at 01:00 across 7 days per week Benefits: Opportunity to work for a Global Company Opportunities for career development and advancement.
