Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Finance Planning & Analysis Manager to guide the financial planning, forecasting, commercial insights and portfolio-wide reporting for a newly acquired Victorian Government services contract. Reporting directly to the Contract Director, you will work collaboratively with client representatives and BGIS teams to uplift financial governance, strengthen transparency and support well-informed operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting Deliver annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and multi-year financial modelling Provide forward-looking financial analysis to support risk management and portfolio strategy Model the financial impacts of operational changes, asset decisions and contract variations Performance Analysis & Reporting Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for governance forums Ensure accuracy in revenue, cost, margin and accrual reporting Identify cost drivers, performance trends and improvement opportunities Commercial & Contract Support Support pricing, scenario modelling, commercial evaluations and contract change requests Ensure alignment with contractual obligations and cost recovery requirements Collaborate with Procurement on vendor assessments and financial efficiencies Operational Business Partnering Work closely with Operational Leaders to review financial performance Provide accessible insights for decision-making and continuous improvement Digital & Systems Enablement Use Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and modelling tools to enhance reporting and financial intelligence Develop automated workflows in Power Automate to streamline processes and approvals Education, Experience & Skills Essential CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) Significant experience in FP&A, financial leadership or commercial analysis Strong financial modelling skills (Excel, scenario modelling, Power BI) High proficiency in digital systems and data-driven reporting Strong communication capability, able to translate financial concepts for non-finance audiences Experience in FM, government, infrastructure or complex service contracts Commitment to innovation, workflow improvement and digital uplift Desirable Exposure to FM technologies or contract-based financial frameworks Additional training in analytics, automation or commercial evaluation Experience in large public-sector or highly regulated environments Workplace Flexibility This position is based at our Melbourne CBD office, close to public transport. Following onboarding and probation, the role will transition to a hybrid arrangement (2 days WFH, 3 days in the office).
