HD Fitters / Mechanical Fitters $75 per hour Northern Workshop Monday to Friday (Days) 6‑Month Temp to Perm A well‑established earthmoving contractor is seeking experienced HD Fitters and Mechanical Fitters with mobile plant experience to join their northern workshop. This is a long‑term opportunity offering strong rates, stable hours and a clear pathway to permanent employment after six months. About the Role You will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet of earthmoving and mobile plant equipment. The position is workshop‑based with consistent Monday to Friday day‑shift hours. Key Responsibilities - Diagnostics, fault finding and mechanical repairs on mobile plant - Servicing and maintenance of loaders, dozers, graders, excavators and earthmoving equipment - Component change-outs including engines, transmissions, pumps and hydraulics - Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing - Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting - Inspection, reporting and completion of maintenance documentation - Ensuring all work is completed safely and to company standards What We're Looking For - Trade qualified HD Fitter or Mechanical Fitter - Experience working on mobile plant or earthmoving equipment - Strong diagnostic and mechanical aptitude - Ability to work independently within a workshop environment - Commitment to safety and quality workmanship - Valid driver's licence - Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen What's On Offer - $75 per hour - Monday to Friday roster - Day shift hours - Northern workshop location - 6‑month temp‑to‑perm opportunity - Long-term, ongoing work - Supportive team and well-maintained fleet If you are an experienced HD Fitter or Mechanical Fitter seeking stable Perth-based work with long-term prospects, we encourage you to apply.
