The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experiences against these essential role requirements of the Team Leader leadership stream: - Specialist knowledge and experience in the assessment, management and treatment of violent extremist offenders within a correctional or similar environment;- Specialist knowledge in applying structured professional judgement tools and operationalising risk management strategies to support service delivery within a security environment or similar;- Research and analytical skills for investigating and analysing trends associated with the management of extremist offenders and ability to operationalise this information within policy and procedures;- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage and negotiate with relevant internal and external stakeholders, who often have competing interests, on sensitive and complex issues within a challenging environment;- Demonstrated ability to work closely with and provide support to a multidisciplinary team which includes clinical staff whom conduct forensic assessments and intervention;- Demonstrated high level ability to work effectively and flexibly in an environment with the potential for high levels of political and public scrutiny;- Proven ability to build and manage ongoing working relationships with a range of stakeholders; and- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.
