About The Role The Senior Advisor, Marketing & Communications is a job share role, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to manage processes and partner with internal subject matter experts to consistently develop and deliver high-quality communications content and artefacts. The successful candidate will work Monday and Tuesday remotely, with a preferred onsite presence on Wednesday, working alongside the other job share partner in this role. This position plays a key part in positively positioning the CyberCX brand and voice across external channels by crafting compelling messages and narratives that resonate with target audiences, while also supporting the broader marketing function through strategic advice, planning, and the delivery of effective campaigns and content across earned, owned, and paid channels. Duties Work with senior leaders across CyberCX to provide expert communications advice, build and implement communications strategy and deliver outcomes in line with business priorities. Drive key messages to market, ensuring engagement and resonance with key external audiences, through supporting development of and execution against marketing and communications plans, including social media, digital content and thought leadership. Ensure delivery of exceptional quality written content, including thought leadership (e.g. blogs, op-eds), technical reports (e.g. research reports, whitepapers) and strategic communications artefacts. Lead the planning and execution of proactive communications strategies to support key business initiatives, such as launches and announcements, through activation across earned media, socials, partner content and other owned, earned and paid channels. Draft external talking points, briefing notes and other materials to support external communications opportunities. Work collaboratively across the business, and with external agencies and stakeholders, on project, events and deliverables to ensure best possible outcome for CyberCX in marketing and communications opportunities. Contribute to the development and delivery of CyberCX’s social media content ensuring integration with overall marketing and communications strategy. Manage the drafting, editing and publishing of various content pieces for the CyberCX website, including blog, newsroom and resources/insights pages, and the CyberCX e-newsletter. Actively build cross-Practice and cross-Function collaboration with key leaders across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive and develop CyberCX’s case studies and video content across owned channels including website and social media. Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field 4 - 6 years’ experience working in communications, marketing, journalism or similar discipline Interest in, and passion for, issues relevant to cyber security and/or tech more broadly Experience with executive communications essential Experience building and maintaining social media presence for an organisation and its leaders, especially using Twitter and LinkedIn Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management with strong negotiation and communication skills and an ability to build rapport and credibility across all levels The ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, CyberCX’s purpose, values and agreed processes and practice Excellent presentation skills Exceptional quality of writing for a variety of audiences and levels Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver with a strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good judgement Skilled in working at pace and across multiple streams of work Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner Before we jump into the responsibilities of the role.
