About The Role The Strategy and Performance branch is seeking an Information Officer to join the Analysis and National Data Policy team for a 12-month opportunity. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in data analysis and statistical modelling and contribute to meaningful outcomes in the education sector. Reporting to senior team members, you will assist in investigating educational data, producing insights, and supporting stakeholders with evidence-based conclusions. Key Responsibilities Include Applying statistical, data modelling, and quantitative techniques to analyse data and generate actionable insights. Creating clear, reproducible analytical reports with appropriate technical language and visualisations. Translating client questions and requirements into analytical directions and communicating findings effectively. Developing new measures related to concepts of interest using multidimensional analysis and machine learning techniques. Collaborating with team members to identify and implement best practices for quantitative and qualitative analysis. About You We are looking for a candidate who: Is eager to learn and develop their technical skills in data analysis and manipulation. Has a strong interest in statistical techniques, data modelling, and machine learning. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
