Job Description Inner City Location Northern Suburb $130,000 to $150,000 plus super Hybrid Join a high performing organisation in the inner city and take ownership of payroll systems, compliance and process improvement. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving controls and translating legislation into practical payroll operations. You will play a key part in compliance, systems optimisation and driving efficiency across a complex payroll environment. The Role • Manage and optimise payroll systems and ensure they are configured for accuracy and compliance • Lead configuration, testing and upgrades across the payroll platform • Interpret legislation and guide the business on changes such as superannuation, taxation and award updates • Work with complex awards and EBAs and support accurate interpretation across the business • Partner with HR, Finance, Digital and Legal teams on accuracy, data quality, risk and reporting • Support internal and external audits, reconciliations and compliance reviews • Reduce manual interventions and improve data flow, documentation and end to end processes • Troubleshoot system issues and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency • Build and maintain dashboards, audit trails and reporting metrics • Provide training and support to the payroll team on systems and best practice About You • Strong payroll systems background in a complex multi entity environment • Confident interpreting legislation, awards and EBAs including superannuation, Fair Work obligations and taxation • Technical capability in Chris 21, Dayforce or Workday with the ability to troubleshoot and improve system performance • Experience working within complex sectors such as aged care, healthcare or construction • Demonstrated experience improving processes, reducing risk and supporting compliance programs • Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to work closely with HR, Finance and Technology teams • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail • Comfortable driving system improvements and managing competing priorities • Strong communication skills and problem solving ability Apply If you are suitable for this role apply on Seek.
