Our team is growing and we’re on the hunt for an Associate Adviser. Job Summary The Associate Financial Adviser provides client service, advice implementation and administrative support to the Private Wealth division, whilst deepening their understanding of the fundamentals of their profession. The key focus of this role is on developing technical expertise, growing capability and building foundations for strong client relationships through implementation of quality advice. Core Capabilities Experienced in Statement of Advice (SOA) and strategy development. Exceptional client rapport. Developing compliance and technical knowledge. Excellent, simplifying communication. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Superior prioritisation and workflow planning. Highly procedural and professional. Tech proficiency in Xplan, Intelliflo and G-Suite is preferred. Familiarisation with investment platforms such as Netwealth & BT. Values-aligned with Integrated Advice Approach. Reliable, ethical, and growth-focused. Proactively identifies process improvements and adapts to change. The type of work you will be doing Statement of Advice & Strategy Development / Preparation: Ensure clear, concise strategic financial advice. Manage Implementation: Oversee the seamless execution of financial strategies. Adviser Collaboration: Work with Advisers on plan development, implementation, and SMART Review services. Workflow Support: Provide critical workflow and regulatory support, including task allocation and compliance documentation. Process Improvement: Drive enhancements to ensure internal functions and outgoing advice are technically sound and compliant. Client Engagement: Maintain proactive updates, resolve queries, and foster a positive client experience. Integrated Advice: Coordinate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive advice. Meeting Preparation: Conduct pre-meeting calls, needs analyses, and collate all required materials. Meeting Support: As required attend meetings to scribe and gather essential information for SOAs and Implementation Management. Qualifications, Education & Experience RG 146 Compliant or on pathway to same. Bachelor Degree (Business, Finance, or Economics preferred). Minimum 18 months in strategic financial planning. Minimum 12 months producing Statements of Advice (SOAs). From logic to magic.
