The Opportunity The Kids have an overarching commitment to address the inequity of the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and families. Our Healthy Skin Team play an important role in achieving this vision with a wide range of projects that discover, treat and prevent infectious diseases, with a focus on the health of kids and families in Aboriginal communities. The Healthy Skin team is looking for a full-time Research Support Officer to provide vital support to the team. In your role, you will provide administrative and project support to the Head of the Healthy Skin team, Professor Asha Bowen, helping to coordinate activities, meetings, team communications, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Some of your responsibilities will include: Managing diaries, travel arrangements, and team communications. Coordinating meetings, events, workshops, and conferences. Supporting research administration. Maintaining accurate records of team members, research outputs, and project milestones. Assisting with social media and website updates. Providing administrative support for publications, presentations, and other dissemination activities. Contributing to the organisation and effective functioning of the Healthy Skin team’s projects and initiatives. This position will be offered on a full-time basis and will be based at our office in Nedlands.
