We're looking for an experienced Operations Team Leader who shares our passion for creating safe, welcoming spaces where our community can thrive. About the Role As our Operations Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our aquatic operations run smoothly and safely. Working alongside our Operations Coordinator, you'll lead a diverse team while maintaining the highest standards across all areas of our facility. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing leadership, ongoing training, and direction to permanent and casual staff including Duty Managers, Lifeguards, Cleaning and Maintenance teams Assisting with Centre maintenance management Staff management and development Program management and coordination Financial management responsibilities Planning and ongoing administrative requirements Ensuring all pool and plant room operations are functioning optimally Managing and maintaining the facility during the Operations Coordinator's absence We're looking for someone who brings initiative and innovation to their management approach. This permanent full-time position requires flexibility across all Centre opening hours, including weekends, as we work together to serve our community seven days a week. About You We'd love to hear from candidates who bring: Relevant industry experience, particularly in aquatic facility management Pool Operators Certificate Hands-on plant room experience Strong interpersonal skills that help build positive team relationships Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Solid computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel A reputation for strategic thinking and problem-solving Experience managing large teams within multi-program venues Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: CPR HLTAID009 Provide First Aid HLTAID011 Statement of Attainment SISSS00133 – Pool Lifeguard Pool Lifeguard Licence Aquatic Technical Operator certification What We Offer We believe in recognizing and rewarding great talent.
