WynActive is on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Facilities Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. Job Description About the Role As our Facilities Officer, you’ll support maintenance and facility care operations across our sites, working closely with the Facilities Coordinator to ensure everything is safe, clean, and operating at its best. You’ll work across all WynActive Facilities, with some occasional weekend hours as part of the Centre Leadership roster. What You’ll Be Doing Your day-to-day will include (but definitely won’t be limited to): Overseeing mechanical plant and equipment operations (including water treatment systems) Engaging, inducting, supervising, and monitoring contractors and tradespeople Coordinating maintenance activities across our facilities Managing feedback from staff and customers related to maintenance issues Identifying opportunities to improve cleanliness, equipment, and overall presentation Monitoring and reporting on initiatives that enhance customer experience Keeping stakeholders informed when operational disruptions occur Desired Skills and Experience What We’re Looking For You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Experience managing contractors and monitoring performance against specifications Strong leadership and motivation skills Clear communication and great people skills Confidence working with external contractors and trades A strong customer service mindset Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain – we’ll cover the cost!)
