As a TAFE Senior Tutor, in the Early Childhood Team, Faculty of Nursing and Community Services, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting. We have a temporary full-time Senior Tutor position in available until 1 June 2026 (unless otherwise determined) to join our Early Childhood team at TAFE Queensland's South Bank Campus. This position reports to the Educational Team Leader. Salary The salary range for a Senior Tutor is $79,481.01 - $82,789.14 (gross) per annum plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary. Benefits Four (4) weeks recreation leave (accrued annually) Professional development, study assistance and support to return to industry for currency and competency purposes Annual staff recognition awards and years of service recognition Mandatory Requirements Applicants must possess the following: Vocational competencies at least to the level of competency that tutorial support is being provided; and CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and/or CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care Current industry skills directly relevant to the Tutorial support being provided; and One (1) of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; plus: TAELLN411 or its successor or TAELLN401A; and TAEASS502 or its successor or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; or TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or A credential issued by a higher education provider which would enable the individual to satisfy the academic requirements for registration as a secondary school teacher and one (1) of the following credentials: TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor, or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (Refer to the Approved Higher Level Qualifications in Adult Education Fact Sheet).
