Management Accountant Full Time Salary Movie World, Oxenford, Gold Coast The Opportunity Are you detail orientated, analytical and ready to elevate your accounting career? We’re seeking a driven finance professional to support our financial processes. Under the guidance of our Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in preparing month-end accounts, budgets, forecasts, and full year financial statements. Key Responsibilities Be a ledger-endary spreadsheet superhero! You’ll be: • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Chartered Practicing Accountant (CPA) with at least two years experience in a similar role. • Partner with business owners of responsible departments building strong working relationships providing financial guidance, answering financial queries and assist in strategic decision making. • Deliver accurate and informative month end accounts and full year accounts. Provide value add analysis of the results identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. • Complete the budget and forecast process within specified timeframes. Continuously monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis. • Working capital management and optimisation of internal processes. • Complete tax reporting requirements as required. • Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly in accordance with the monthly plan. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal financial policies. • Actively look for ways to improve the current processes. Challenge what we do with a view to improving what we do in a more accurate and time efficient manner. • Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent internal service and to promote a positive working environment. What We’re Looking For Got the qualification, the formulas and the excel-lence in office suite. You’ll bring: • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Chartered Practicing Accountant (CPA) with at least two years experience in a similar commercial role. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint). • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) with a proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas. • Strong time management, analytical and organisational skills, with an attention to detail. • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required. • Demonstrated discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality. • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
