About the Job: We are currently seeking a Client Services and Sample receipt Co-ordinator to join our high-performing team committed to exceeding client expectations in Canberra. This role involves a variety of laboratory tasks, including sample receipt and processing, in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are essential. The Day to Day: The successful applicants will undertake a range of duties including the following: Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with new and existing clientele. Liaising with clients on queries and quotations. Attending regular client meetings. Setting priorities internally to achieve the client turnaround times and monthly financial targets. Ensuring sample registration is completed in a timely fashion. Promotes and encourages personal growth and effective communication with the team. Communicating with other ALS laboratories regarding ambiguities in sample paperwork or the condition of the samples received. Conducting Annual PMR’s. Ensuring the efficient running of sample receipt and client services through optimising staff numbers, cross training staff and maintaining productivity outputs. Ensure front-end staff maintain an excellent service level to all customers. Supports and contributes towards business improvement. Other duties related to the role. The Essentials: A tertiary science (Micro/Chemistry) Qualification. Excellent attention to detail, communications and organisational skills in a fast-paced work environment. Dedication to safe, quality laboratory practices. Strong commitment to client service. A positive work attitude, willingness to learn new skills and to be a great team player. Ability to work well independently. Sound judgement and an effective problem-solving approach. During the holiday period we will have limited recruitment support from 22 December to 7 January.
