Description We currently have an opportunity for a Fraud and Corruption Prevention Officer. Join our Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services team and play a key role in strengthening integrity and preventing fraud and corruption risks across our operations. Reporting to Fraud and Corruption Prevention Lead, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. This role can be based from Brisbane or North Ryde. Responsibilities What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Contribute to development and implementation of frameworks, policies, and controls to prevent and detect fraud and corruption. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and red flags. Support investigations into suspected fraud or corruption, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Support and deliver training and awareness programs to promote ethical decision-making and compliance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement, to manage risks. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in forensic accounting, finance, law, risk, or similar discipline. Several years’ experience in fraud prevention, investigations, audit, or compliance. Strong understanding of fraud schemes, regulatory frameworks, and investigative techniques. Proven ability to analyse complex data and develop actionable insights. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
