About the Job We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in Databricks, SQL, and Python to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with a well-known, highly respected brand on impactful data engineering initiatives, helping to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks. Write efficient, well-structured SQL queries and Python code for data transformation and validation. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality datasets for reporting and analytics. Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation following best practices. Assist in managing Databricks jobs, workflows, and cluster performance. Integrate data from multiple sources such as APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, and SaaS tools. Support data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure or AWS). Follow data security, privacy, and governance standards. Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake. Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and analysis. Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines. Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP. Basic understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed computing concepts.
