Job Details 4 Day Nanny Educator (15873) Botanic Ridge Rate: $40.30 - $43.01 (L3) per hour including Super and Tax (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf) 4 days per week with a child aged 8 years Monday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Wednesday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Husband works weekly roster, with shifts including 7-3:30, 8:30-5pm, 9:30-6pm. He has his roster 3 months in advance in most cases. Each week will be the same shift each day. This family would like: Family requiring an Educator who is experienced with Neurodiversity and understand Pathological Demand Avoidance (or willingness to learn). The family is seeking someone who brings a calm presence, patience in spades, and the skills to recognise when certain behaviours are best ignored rather than addressed directly. The child uses physical movement and water play to self-regulate, join in active play, and supervise swimming would be ideal. An interest in gaming will go a long way, with the child enjoying games such as Minecraft and Roadblocks. This family uses a low demand, relationship focused approach, prioritising connection and trust. Educators who use indirect language, avoid unnecessary demands, and understand that traditional boundaries can escalate stress for children with PDA will be a strong match for this role. If you are someone who meets children where they are, can move gently with their needs, and enjoy a mix of active play and shared interests, this could be a great fit. The family are welcoming a new puppy so must be comfortable around dogs. The shift start and finish time we be different each week but will be 8-9 hours per day. Roster will be given in advance. You must: - Have obtained or are working towards your Cert III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary Education and are registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia.
