This role is ideal for a passionate leader who can step into an established service, provide stability and strong leadership, and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families, and educators. Working closely with the Assistant Centre Manager and Educational Leader, you will oversee the day to day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance, quality practice, and a positive culture throughout the maternity leave period. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily centre operations, including staffing, rostering, and occupancy Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team Maintain compliance with the NQF, NQS, and Children’s Services Regulations Foster strong relationships with families, staff, and the local community Support quality programming aligned with the EYLF and Aspire’s curriculum Manage budgets and operational performance in partnership with senior leadership Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment About You Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or Centre Manager Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills Organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Passionate about delivering high-quality early learning and care Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, and Food Safety Supervisor certificate Our Values Inspiring & Nurturing – Creating environments where children feel supported to explore, learn, and grow.
