Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Production Planner to support their S/4HANA and PPDS production planning environment. This is an operational, hands-on role focused on day-to-day planning, scheduling, and production optimisation, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position after 12 months. About the Role You will manage the production planning and scheduling processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring efficient production runs, accurate master data, and alignment with manufacturing operations. The role is operationally focused, providing end-to-end support to the planning and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities: Execute day-to-day production planning and scheduling activities in SAP S/4HANA and PPDS. Maintain and optimise master data, planning parameters, and MRP runs. Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing, supply chain, and warehouse teams. Monitor and adjust production plans to meet customer demand and capacity constraints. Support production issue resolution and provide insights to improve planning efficiency. Participate in testing, cutover, and post-go-live support during the S/4HANA project. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational planning processes. Skills & Experience Required Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and PPDS. Strong operational planning experience within manufacturing or FMCG industries. Knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, and scheduling best practices. Experience with production reporting, exception handling, and continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
