You’ll work closely with families, communities, and partner organisations to ensure culturally safe, trauma-informed care and early intervention. Essential Criteria Licence: Current NSW Driver's Licence Qualifications: Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor’s degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Graduate Certificate in Human & Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma), with demonstrated cultural expertise. Demonstrated ability to create Aboriginal community connections, engagement and collaboration to affect outcomes with an understanding of intergenerational trauma, contextual and causal factors for violence, abuse and neglect and the principles of cultural safety. Demonstrated understanding and skills in child centred, family focussed counselling, support and case management to address problematic or harmful sexual behaviours with young children and their carers. Demonstrated ability to provide culturally responsive counselling services to individuals and their families and a commitment to accessing clinical and cultural supervision and professional education. Demonstrated understanding of the legal and policy framework governing child protection in NSW. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills in combination with an ability to work as part of a small therapeutic team.
