Be Recruitment is partnering with a leading disability support provider to recruit a committed Team Leader for a Supported Independent Living service in Western Sydney. This role combines leadership responsibilities with direct participant support and offers the opportunity to be part of a values-driven organisation. About the Role: As the Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a SIL house while working as part of the rostered support team. T he roster may include evenings, nights and weekends to ensure consistent, high-quality participant support. Your responsibilities will include: Working rostered shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends Providing supervision, coaching and guidance to Disability Support Workers Supporting participants with daily living skills, community engagement and goal achievement Implementing behavioural support strategies and maintaining safe, person-centred practices Completing operational tasks, including rosters, documentation, incident reporting and compliance Building strong relationships with participants, families, guardians and external stakeholders Upholding the NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies Participate in a regular on-call roster About You You will bring a supportive leadership style, strong disability sector experience and confidence working within a roster. You will be committed to high-quality service delivery and fostering a positive team culture. We are seeking someone with: Experience as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker Background in disability services, ideally within a SIL environment Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based practice Ability to balance hands-on support with administrative and leadership duties Strong communication, organisation and documentation skills Flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends as required Be willing to participate in a regular on-call roster Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or related qualification Current First Aid and CPR NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain) Working With Children Check Full Australian driver's licence What’s on Offer Part-time role averaging 34 hours per week Competitive FTE salary of $81,000 plus super Access to salary packaging benefits Supportive organisational culture and ongoing development A balanced leadership role with continued connection to frontline support If you are an experienced disability support professional looking for a leadership opportunity with genuine impact, we would love to hear from you.
