As Senior Mental Health Clinicians at the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre, you will be helping shape lives through evidence-based mental health care in a unique, culturally diverse environment. This Centre, 85 km's from Cairns, accommodates high and low security prisoners and provides remand and reception. As it is people-centered, it aims to build cultural safety in the programs and services the QCS Mental Health Services team provide to support the prisoner population to improve outcomes. These new roles will deliver high-level clinical services within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessment and interventions that promote the mental health and well-being of adults within this Centre. Mandatory Requirements: - Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Occupational Therapy with relevant registration with AHPRA, or tertiary qualifications in Social Work with membership to AASW highly desirable.- Minimum two years' post-graduate experience in mental health (desirable).- C Class Driver's Licence.
