About the role Temporary full time opportunity to ensure that the cellular therapy program of the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital and the Queensland Children's Hospital complies with the accreditation and licensure requirements of Stem Cell Donors - Australia (StemAU), the National Association Testing Authorities Australasia (NATA), National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC), the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Develop, coordinate, implement, maintain and improve a quality management system that ensures compliance of clinical practice (medical, nursing and allied health) and laboratory procedures of the cellular therapy program at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital and the Queensland Children's Hospital with accreditation and licensure requirements of StemAU, NATA, NPAAC, FACT and the TGA, and relevant hospital policies. Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of the procedures for collection, transportation, culture, processing, cryopreservation, storage, testing, release, issue, and infusion of immune effector cells such as CAR-T cells. Provide consultation to medical, nursing, laboratory and quality management personnel located within cellular therapy programs of other public and private hospitals in Queensland, interstate or overseas. Provide active leadership, supervision and education of staff within the Cellular Therapy Program at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the Queensland Children's Hospital in the area of quality management and provide expert training and guidance to advanced level clinicians.
