Your new role: As a Clinical Nurse - Transplant, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and expert nursing care to patients with complex transplant needs. Working autonomously within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality specialist care while supporting education, research, and service improvement. Key responsibilities include: Delivering advanced, evidence-based transplant nursing care for patients with complex needs Providing clinical leadership and expert decision-making across the unit Supporting ward and team leadership in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7 Coordinating care, managing patient acuity, and optimising models of care About you: You are an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse with advanced clinical expertise in transplant or complex acute care. You thrive in leadership roles, demonstrate strong clinical judgement, and are passionate about delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred care. About us: 4BT is the Queensland Adult Renal and Liver Transplant Unit. Our aim is to provide our transplant patients with safe, quality and patient-focused care by applying the Professional Practice Model resulting in optimal patient outcomes 4BT is a fourteen-bed unit located on the fourth floor. The unit has an attached procedure room in which liver and renal biopsy, drug desensitisation, dressings and infusions are undertaken.
