Company : Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team maintaining a fleet of CAT equipment. Going back-to-back with another Maintenance Supervisor and reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable maintenance of mobile equipment to meet production targets and operational requirements. As a Mine Site Maintenance Supervisor at Hastings Deering, you will: Provide supervision, leadership and guidance – to a team of four Leading Hands, overseeing daily activities to meet targets. Manage rostering and scheduling – develop and maintain rosters for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and alignment with job planning, work order programs and operational priorities. Monitor compliance – with safety procedures to foster a strong safety culture. Oversee reporting and documentation – for maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Drive continuous improvement – by recommending effective and efficient solutions to customers and the broader Hastings Deering business. Who are we and why work with us? About You A successful teammate will have experience in: Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade, or related discipline. Safety minded - committed to always maintaining high workplace health and safety standards. Leadership background – the ability to supervise and lead a team. Experience that counts – prior experience in a similar role within the mining and heavy earthmoving industries, leading a team to achieve targeted results. Strong communicator - excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus. Reliable transport - this role is a Drive in/Drive out role so you will need the ability to get yourself to and from site. Systems knowledge – familiarity with maintenance and planning systems such as SAP, AMT AX or similar will be highly advantageous.
