ABOUT THE ROLE As a Business Analyst , you will work closely with Agile delivery teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery. Partnering with Product Managers, Technical Leads and key stakeholders, you’ll translate customer and business requirements into clear, actionable solutions that enable informed decision-making and high-quality delivery. You’ll play a key role across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to build, test and release — using strong analysis, structured documentation and continuous collaboration to drive successful outcomes. What You’ll Be Doing; Elicit, document and prioritise business requirements aligned to strategic objectives Analyse current-state processes, workflows and system interactions to identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities Support solution design across discovery, build and delivery phases Produce clear, high-quality artefacts including process maps, data and system flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases and business rules Translate business needs into epics, features and user stories to support backlog planning and refinement Develop visual assets such as diagrams, wireframes and system/data flows to clarify requirements Partner with delivery teams to plan, prioritise and coordinate work through to implementation Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on user needs, business goals and technical capabilities Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, tools and standards ABOUT YOU You’re a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology. You’re comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, asking the right questions, and turning complexity into clarity. You bring a structured, analytical mindset and thrive in Agile, fast-paced environments where collaboration and continuous discovery are key. You enjoy working with modern, API-driven platforms and are motivated by delivering high-quality product and customer outcomes. You will also bring: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Information Systems or equivalent practical experience 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst (or similar) role within payments, fintech or a technology-led environment Hands-on experience supporting API-driven products and integrations, including merchant and partner integrations Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis and translating requirements into delivery-ready artefacts Experience working in Agile delivery teams, with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence A proactive problem solver with a natural curiosity for understanding complex systems and processes Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership High attention to detail, particularly in process analysis and documentation Sound critical thinking and decision-making skills, supported by data and structured analysis SALARY The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $130,000 superannuation.
