As Principal Program Officer, you will specifically: - Develop and implement strategies, programs and processes to support effective branch operations.- Monitor and report on implementation progress against branch and government priorities.- Prepare a range of written materials including briefing notes, memorandums for approval, plans, correspondence, discussion papers and reports to a high standard.- Develop and maintain productive partnerships with a range of stakeholders to ensure successful codesign, consultation and delivery on operational matters and reform priorities.- Identify, analyse and progress strategic and operational issues and risks, providing recommendations and advice to management and key stakeholders.- Deliver high quality advice and support to colleagues and senior management on a range of topics including planning and reporting.- Demonstrate capability and understanding in using a range of electronic platforms and systems.- Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the human Rights Act 2019and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
