Job Description Position Title: APS5 Administrative Support Officer Employment Type: Labour Hire Contract - Approx. 3 Months Location: Forrest, ACT Hourly Pay Rate: $57.42 – $60.89 per hour 12% superannuation Security Clearance/Requirements: NV1 Security Clearance Working Arrangements: Onsite ABOUT THE ROLE An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join a busy Business Services team within a federal government environment. In this role, you will assist with a variety of operational support functions, including property and facilities coordination, records management, security support, governance activities and general office administration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, can adapt quickly to changing priorities, and is confident engaging with stakeholders across the organisation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support for property and facilities management, including day-to-day office operations and meeting room set-up. Assist with information and records management following established procedures. Support security functions, including physical and information security activities. Assist with Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in line with guidelines. Provide secretariat support for internal and external committees. Maintain positive working relationships while delivering responsive stakeholder support. Manage and triage the team mailbox. Perform additional duties as required to support Business Operations. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to pivot quickly when priorities change. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and share information to support team objectives. Proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality work. Shows initiative and commitment to achieving quality outcomes. Experience working in fast-paced environments. ELIGIBILITY Must hold an active NV1 Security Clearance .
