Introduction Who we are Swicker’s Kingaroy Bacon Factory Pty Ltd is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours’ drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. Swicker’s has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 750 employees. As part of the Sunpork Group, Swicker’s is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swicker’s processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. Description The opportunity As a member of the Maintenance team your role will work very closely with the Engineering procurement manager to maintain effective store operations for the maintenance team to ensure limited equipment downtime and cost-effective storage items. Main duties will include, but are not limited to: Take delivery of goods and supplies, unload goods and check against order forms Receipt deliveries against pre-printed PO, using handheld device. Repack deliveries to set location (ensure all shelves and cabinets are properly labelled) Package and send rotatable or any parts as required, to suppliers (blade sharpening, Strapper modules, parts for repairs, trolley wheels). Update freight register with consignment details. Service Store counter by picking parts or power tools for Trades, Planners and all employees. Complete transfer orders for Mex work orders and move to Mex tubs. Label tubs with Mex numbers, update Mex arrival/completion sheet for traceability. Communicate completion to Maintenance team. Same process applies for MEX deliveries. Ensure that the Engineering Store is always kept clean and tidy and orderly Issue and return to set location all tools, power tools, charge batteries for power tools and tool fittings that are booked in and out of store. Ensure tools, batteries and fittings are in good working order. Replace as required. Complete weekly stocktakes (entire store to be completed quarterly). Weekly visual inspection of all consumable item, not on inventory list. (Consumables do not form part of the catalogue and are therefore not managed by warehouse system and need to be checked weekly for low levels and reordered as required. Forklift Operations as and when needed. Annual – Stocktake Kill Floor robotic equipment service kits and ensure kit is complete and ready for annual service. Skills And Experiences What we’re looking for Swicker’s has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. As a key member you will have: Hold a current drivers Licence A current Forklift Licence – Highly desirable High attention to detail Excellent computer skills (MS Office-intermediate Excel) Previous warehousing/stores experience Strong drive and hardworking attitude, able to work unsupervised Good oral and written communications skills Strong commitment to safety
