Join our Safety & Wellbeing team at Bunnings as an Injury Management Advisor. This is your chance to be part of a supportive environment where your expertise will assist our injured team members recover at work. The key focus of this role is to train, coach and support our site leaders in VIC/TAS to facilitate stay at work or early return to work for injured team members. This is a fixed term contract with an immediate start continuing through to March 2027. Your work location will vary with a combination of working in our National Support Office in Burnley as well as potentially onsite meetings with injured team members or their providers as required. What's involved: Work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to adapt and reprioritise daily is essential Provide early and ongoing injury management for our team members Work with our self-insurer Wesfarmers Group Team Cover to ensure workers compensation claims meet all legislative requirements and best practice injury management principles Follow our injury management policies and procedures Train, coach, and support site leaders to achieve stay at work or early return to work outcomes for injured team members Liaise with our injured team members medical team, GPs, Specialists, Physios completing medical case conferences to facilitate safe and early return to or stay at work About You: You are a dedicated self-starter with a passion for helping others. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills make you a natural at coaching and influencing. You thrive in a team environment and are always ready to show initiative and solve problems. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines ensure that you deliver the best outcomes for our team members. You'll need: Tertiary qualification in an allied health or medical-related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Injury Management Knowledge and advanced understanding of workers compensation and injury management legislation Well-developed negotiation and coaching skills and ability to influence Initiative and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
