Role Overview Reporting to the Group Head of Commercial, you will own financial management, reporting, and analysis for the group function including 2 major cost centres. On a daily basis, you will provide actionable financial insights and guidance to non-financial leaders. Weekly, you will review spending, track progress against budgets, and support operational decision-making. Monthly, you will prepare forecasts, update budgets, and deliver comprehensive commentary on financial results to ensure alignment with organisational goals. You will have the opportunity to lead critical initiatives, including the development of activity-based costing and recharge models that impact inter-company charges and segment-level spend. This role offers significant influence on strategic projects, financial process improvements, and stakeholder engagement, positioning you as the trusted partner for the business leaders and a central contributor to the business’s commercial success. Responsibilities: • Own the performance of 2 major cost centres, delivering accurate reporting and insights across financial and non-financial metrics. • Build, implement, and manage the recharge model impacting cost allocations and inter-company charges. • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, budgets, and analysis to senior stakeholders. • Partner with CTO, P&C, and Finance leadership to support strategic initiatives and project delivery. • Lead process improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and best practices. • Review and optimise subscription and software spend across the group. • Analyse and maintain the service delivery catalogue, including methodology for cost attribution. • Deliver financial insights for decision-making, including risk identification and mitigation strategies. Candidate Profile You are an energetic, inquisitive, and commercially-minded finance professional with 3–5 years of experience as a Commercial or FP&A analyst in a complex business with revenue exceeding $400 million. You have demonstrated expertise in business partnering, project delivery, and financial data analysis, with a strong ability to translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders. A CA/CPA qualification is required. You bring strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, alongside advanced Excel capabilities. You are experienced with ERP systems and consolidation tools. Patience, energy, and exceptional communication skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders across IT, P&C, and Finance, while your ability to influence and deliver outcomes ensures success in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
