Gourmet Food has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join their Site Team, reporting to the Quality Manager- Ringwood & Dandenong South sites. In this role you ensure the directing, implementation, maintenance and administering of all quality and food safety activities at the Dandenong South site are undertaken and in line with company policy, standards and statutory requirements. As Quality Manager you are fully responsible for the people, machinery and the identification and elimination of quality losses and problems in the department. You will manage a team of Quality Partners and grow your team's capabilities and coordinates departmental activities in accordance with corporate standards, local requirements, and ISO standards. How you will contribute You will role is responsible for guaranteeing Quality Assurance across the Site to protect our consumers, brand & reputation. This encompasses the development and execution of the Quality strategy, developing and implementation of robust systems & processes and building people capability across the operations and external stakeholder base. Ensure compliance to the company policies, standards and statutory requirements. Delivering strong food safety practices & behaviours as we strive for zero defects & world leading practices. This position will promote a quality culture by driving awareness of the importance of quality across functions and the impact on food safety, operational efficiency and specification compliance. In addition, you will partner with the site leadership team and external stakeholders to maximize effectiveness and ensure integration of the quality systems with Operations.
