As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for proving support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What you'll do: - Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. - Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. - Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. - Conduct building walk arounds to develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexities - Investigate faults, identify causes and effect remedies - Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. - Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. - Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. - Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. - Ensure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations - Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. - Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What you'll need: - Trade qualification (Electrical/HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing), White Card and driving licence - Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads in compliance with the rules defined by the applicable H&S regulation. - Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. - Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. - Good customer relationship skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
