Job Description Provision of carpentry services as required to the highest quality standard. Liaise with individual departments and the Maintenance Manager in relation to work requirements. Plan and prioritise jobs to ensure deadlines are met and emergencies are handled appropriately. Provide back-up support in various areas to replace absent employees when required. Work in harmony with all other Hotel/Resort Staff. Attend training programs as required. Completion of daily carpentry maintenance and repairs ie. as reported from guest rooms, individual Departments and Duty Managers. Alterations throughout the Hotel/Resort complex. Glazing ie. Replacing broken windowpanes. Tiling ie. Re-grouting shower recesses etc. Repair and installation of internal and external fittings as required eg. sliding doors, fly screens, tiling, drawers, cupboard doors, door locks, curtain rods etc. Any other tasks assigned by your manager.
