As The Selected Candidate, You Will Design and build robust backend solutions using .NET Core and Python tailored to project specifications. Maintain and update backend components to support ongoing project requirements. Develop APIs and middleware for seamless Azure-based system integrations. Coordinate integration workflows across multiple platforms and services. Implement controls to meet public sector security and compliance standards. Conduct reviews to ensure backend services adhere to governance policies. Monitor system performance to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks. Optimise backend processes to consistently achieve project SLAs. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver cohesive solutions. Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and project reviews to meet delivery milestones. To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have Proven experience in backend development using .NET Core and Python. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Hands-on experience with Azure services (Function Apps, Container Apps, App Services). Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Demonstrated experience delivering within Agile project teams. It Is Desirable If You Have Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-900). Experience with case management systems and business process applications. Experience in public sector projects with safety, security, or justice focus. Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline clearance (no pending legal matters).
