Job Description Oaks Brisbane River City Suites are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead our property operations on a full-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient functioning of all building systems, assets and maintenance operations across the property. The successful candidate will oversee preventative maintenance, vendor and contractor coordination, compliance, team leadership and support key projects including upgrades and sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead, implement and execute the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance and long-term asset protection. Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance across the property as required. Supervise and manage all service areas including (but not limited to) electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security systems, and approved contractor works. Oversee general building upkeep tasks including painting, plastering, carpentry and other minor works. Always ensure strict compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and all regulatory requirements. Manage stock control, purchasing, supplier coordination and cost-efficient resource allocation. Prepare quotes, schedule works, and manage Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests. Contribute to long-term asset planning, sustainability initiatives and continuous operational improvement.
