About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Pajingo operations on an 8/6 roster. DIDO and FIFO applicants provided accommodation and meals in Charters Towers. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead your direct reports to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance across all Processing operations. This role focuses on optimising plant reliability and performance while ensuring planned maintenance and shutdown activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities across the Processing Plant, Crushing Circuit, and associated site infrastructure. • Ensure all electrical work complies with legislative, regulatory, and site safety standards. • Coordinate planned maintenance, shutdowns, and project work to meet operational and production targets. • Manage and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, and performance management as required. • Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety requirements. • Develop and implement electrical work procedures and standards where required. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure CMMS data integrity. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. About You • A minimum of five years’ electrical experience within mining, commercial, or heavy industrial environments. • Demonstrated supervisory experience with proven leadership, communication, and team-development skills. • Practical experience in high-voltage systems and switching operations. • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively. • Proficiency in CMMS systems (ideally SAP) and general computer applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Comprehensive understanding of electrical industry standards and practices, supported by sound knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act, associated Regulations, and proven experience in risk, safety, and compliance management. • Proven experience in managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and site procedures. • Well-developed planning and project scheduling skills Culture and Benefits At NQM Gold 2, we are building a high-performance culture that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
