The Company Our client is a well-established Australian gold producer with a long-life asset in Northern Queensland. Their operation plays a key role in regional employment and sustainable gold production. As the business continues to evolve, they are seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee the full spectrum of site-based commercial activities and provide leadership across finance, contracts, procurement, logistics, and warehousing. The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact commercial leadership role, working closely with both site and corporate teams. The Commercial Manager will lead a small team and have oversight of all key commercial functions, driving cost control, commercial governance, and supplier performance. The position reports to the GM Finance and is offered on a 4/3 day roster with DIDO or residential options (no FIFO). A vehicle is included, and relocation assistance is available if required. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement, contracting, warehousing, and site accounting, Drive site commercial performance and cost management, Manage vendor relationships and optimise commercial systems, Provide strategic commercial advice to site leadership. About You Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, or related field, CPA or equivalent professional accreditation, Proven experience in a commercial leadership role in, mining/resources/heavy industry, Strong background in procurement, contracts, and financial oversight, Comfortable in a site-based leadership capacity.
