Our client operates a well-established cattle station located just outside Charters Towers, Queensland. The property runs a commercial breeding program alongside a growing feedlot facility used to finish cattle from within the company. We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Feedlot Operator to join the team. About the Role In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for: • Operating in the feed mill to prepare and mix feed rations for cattle • Operating, maintaining, and servicing feedlot and machinery equipment • Assisting with general feedlot operations and maintenance • Ensuring cattle are fed accurately, safely, and efficiently What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in feedlot or cattle operations • Mechanical aptitude and confidence in routine maintenance • Skilled in operating tractors, loaders, and other machinery • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or within a small team Conditions Roster: Ideally one week on / one week off (flexible options can be discussed) Pay: Above award, based on experience, with competitive benefits Accommodation: Options available, details provided on enquiry Additional Opportunity There is also an opportunity for your partner to take on a flexible role helping around the property with cooking and gardening about five days a week, with the option to join in mustering if capable.
