About the Role: ALS Water operates a state-of-the-art commercial laboratory in Scoresby, Melbourne, equipped with the latest technology. A rare opportunity is now available for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the efficient daily operation of our Scoresby office. In this role you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day administration of the office, efficient data processing, and providing frontline support to clients and staff. This is a pivotal role so we’re looking for the ability to turn your hand to anything and to proactively plan ahead. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:06 PM. The Day to Day: The successful applicants will undertake a range of duties including the following: Attend telephone and face-to-face enquiries Ensure efficient administration of all aspects of the office Ensure prioritisation of data entry and reporting Develop a good understanding of ALS procedures and work instructions Liaise with internal and external clients Invoicing and financial administration Liaising with couriers and arranging collections Comply with all WHS requirements and identify any unsafe work practices Ordering of consumables and stationery Coordinate staff uniforms Organise office events The Essentials: The successful applicant will possess the following skills and abilities: Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment Superior organisational abilities High levels of accuracy and numeracy skills Strong communication ability – verbal and written Technology savvy Working at ALS The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
