Manufacturing and Production Planner Leading luxury FMCG brand Collingwood Location. Hybrid working Rate: $50 - $60 per hour Contract role for 6 months. January start. Join a leading luxury FMCG brand with a global footprint, supporting the end-to-end production planning of products manufactured through high-quality contract manufacturers. What you'll be doing: Contract Manufacturer management Act as the go-to contact for all BAU topics with external manufacturing partners Track performance monthly against KPIs and troubleshoot production issues early Lead monthly collaboration meetings and weekly open-order reviews to drive improvements Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Technical and Compliance teams to manage rework and quarantined stock Partner with the Launch team to ensure manufacturing documentation is approved on time Production planning Build, manage and optimise a 12-month forecast for 3rd-party manufactured finished and semi-finished goods Adjust production schedules based on constraints, material availability and business priorities Work closely with manufacturers and the materials planning team to minimise disruption Support NPD, reformulations and transitions with timely planning and communication Recommend changes to MOQs and production frequency, collaborating with the Relationship Manager Maintain optimum inventory levels across global distribution centre Flag, investigate and resolve shortages, surplus and root-cause issues across stakeholders Make informed calls on trade-offs to avoid supply gaps and clearly communicate risks About you: A relevant degree (Supply Chain, Business, Sourcing or similar) 3 years in supply chain planning (production, materials, demand or distribution) FMCG or retail experience and exposure to complex or long-lead-time supply chains Confident supplier management capability Strong ERP and planning systems experience
